Abstract: This paper presents our current work in locating users through RFID devices for a multimodal dialogue system called Mayordomo. The paper explains how RFID works and describes the system architecture to connect hardware devices (RFID) and software applications (Mayordomo). Finally several examples are shown to explain how this implementation improves the dialogue between the system and users.
